About Sugarsnap Peas
Pisum sativum var. macrocarpon: Mangetout!, as the French say. ("Eat it all", for those of us who rely on Google for translation.) Like its cousin the snow pea, snap peas - as they're also called - are entirely edible when eaten young, unlike English peas, which must be shelled before preparation. We grow an improved variety called "Super Sugar Snaps" from organic seed.
